Boxenhaltung: Die Kälber können der Strahlung von Handymasten nicht ausweichen

In recent years dozens of calves have suffered from cataracts. Studies of the University of Zurich revealed that many of them lived near cell phone masts. Some animals developed blindness and as a result couldn’t find the udder of the mother anymore and died.

In humans electromagnetic pollution from cell phone radiation may cause discomfort. The affected suffer from headaches, muscle cramps or nerve inflammations. Electrosmog expert Peter Schlegel says, “Every year, about a hundred people, who have been affected, contact me.”

Animals can also suffer from the constant exposure. The first scientifically documented case in Switzerland was made public 15 years ago: In farmer Hans Sturzenegger’s barn in Reutlingen, ZH over several years 50 calves went blind. Cause of blindness: severe cataracts.

Professor Michael Hässig of the veterinary department of the University of Zurich knows the consequences: “Blind calves can not find the udder of their mother and die”

It has been shown that the disease only appeared after a cell phone antenna had been set up only 20 meters from the barn. As the telecom company removed the mast after years of “tug of war”, there were no new cases of the diseases. The Studies of Hässig, who accompanied the event for several years, prove these events.
